How to view a presentation

What’s in an online presentation
WildfireLessons.net takes a presentation created in Microsoft Powerpoint (a .PPT file) and converts it to web pages that can be viewed from within the WildfreLessons site.
In addition to posting a PPT file, authors can choose to add other learning support features:
- A quiz, so readers can test their understanding of the ideas in the presentation (multiple choice questions only)
- An evaluation page, so readers can provide the author with feedback about the presentation

How to begin
You must be logged in to view the HTML version of a presentation, take the quiz, or submit feedback. (You can view the description of any presentation, or download the file, without logging in.)
1. Make sure to log in if you haven’t already. (If you have never logged in to MyFireCommunity, take a moment and create a login account.)
2. Click on the title of the presentation you would like to view. This loads a description page. Use the "Timeline" bar on the right side of the screen to view the PowerPoint, take the quiz (if available), provide feedback, or participate in a discussion forum (if available).
3. From the description page, choose View this PowerPoint.
4. Step through the slides in the presentation which has opened in a new window.  When you reach the end, return to the Presentation Information page which should indicate that you have completed the presentation (a checkmark will be displayed).   If you leave a presentation, your progress will automatically be save so you can return to it at a later date.
5. If the course includes a quiz, click "Take the Quiz" on the timeline. The quiz will display  the correct answers after you click on the "Grade the Quiz" button.
6. If the course includes a feedback form, click on "Provide Feedback" on the timeline. Select a rating for each of the four questions, and type in any other comments you have for the author of the presentation. Click Submit Feedback when you are done.
