An engine crewmember was struck by the top of a snag while scouting a potential sawline. The employee suffered bumps, bruises, abrasions and a possible concussion. Agency EMTs transported the patient via sked off the fireline to an ambulance, which transported the patient to a rendezvous site with an air ambulance to transport to the hospital. Employee was released on 7/31 for one week of no active duty, after which the employee will be reevaluated by medical staff.
